FAQs
-
New patients should book the New patient Session or New Patient Telehealth Session.
Headache/Jaw pain sessions can only be booked as an add-on to a New patient visit or as a stand-alone treatment for an established patient. Established patients can only book traditional Chiropractic sessions.
-
After your first session make sure to stay hydrated and moving. Some patients may feel a “post-exercise soreness” or light bruising where tissue work was done, which is normal! All patients should follow up with home care programs/instructions discussed during their visit.
-
The sound you hear from adjustments is gas releasing from joints that are being stretched! Our joints are filled with nutrient-rich fluid and encapsulated, so when adjustments are administered this pressure change will cause a release of gasses inside of the fluid, giving you the “crack” sound of the adjustment.

-
The short answer is, it depends. After your New Patient Session, Dr. Cruz will let you know which combination of treatment styles would be best suited for your case. It is always Dr. Cruz’s main goal to decrease treatment frequency as you see results and strengthen patients’ confidence in lifestyle changes that will support a pain-free lifestyle. Together we will create a realistic and sustainable practice that will span far beyond the treatment room.

The traditional approach to Chiropractic care can foster a dependency mindset. At CCW the patient’s education on their condition and ability to take a leading role in their health is our main priority. This is not just a quick adjustment and out-the-door type of service, everything is curated to your specific needs. Patients are empowered to learn more about their bodies, challenge old mindsets and learn how to effectively get relief in their daily lives through applying the skills learned in the office, for years to come.
